Transitions is a comprehensive educational program, delivered in the classroom or online, that teaches the life and work skills necessary to obtain and maintain employment, and build a lasting career.

Research shows that 80% of those fired from their jobs are not let go for a lack of technical job skills, but for problems with professional conduct, the inability to get along with co-workers, dishonesty, or a lack of results-oriented behavior.

These important life and work skills are referred to as employability skills or 'soft skills' and they are usually the determining factor in success or failure in the workplace. A majority of students and adults entering the workforce lack these critical soft skills and therefore struggle to maintain employment and develop a lasting career.
